Innovative Learning and Teaching in Higher Education

The education sector has always been on the rise to cater the ever-changing market needs and demands. Human capital and competency being a central development of this significant change, higher education is the key to impart the right knowledge, skill, and ability to prepare the entrepreneurs, innovators, engineers, educators, doctors, and other skilled professionals across different sectors. In this light of significance, continuous learning assessment in higher education, innovative learning techniques, novel pedagogical approaches and student-centered approach is vital for higher education institutions to foster the positive learning culture. Some of the research pointers that are intended to carry out in this study are learning style (construction of knowledge), building rapport, pedagogy (lesson planning and delivery), student engagement, assessment, and syllabus design. To achieve this, we would be using mixed method of research design which involves both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis techniques encompassing all the stakeholders in higher education. Based on this research, the implication and research output can be generalized across all higher education sectors in UAE and globally.
