Impact of Climate Change on the UAE

Overview

The Remote Sensing Research Group at the University of Dubai developed a simulation tool to visualize the impact of climate change on the UAE, particularly focusing on sea level rise. This research simulates different scenarios of rising seawater and explores mitigation strategies. By studying the potential impacts, the group aims to provide feasible recommendations to address climate change effects on the UAE’s coastal regions and contribute to long-term environmental planning and awareness.
