Law and Policy Dimension of Flying Taxis in Dubai
Overview
Dubai’s “Air Taxi” initiative, part of its self-driving mobility strategy, aims to transform 25% of transport into autonomous vehicles by 2030. These eco-friendly air taxis (e-VTOL) offer advanced technology for efficient urban transport. However, concerns about safety, trust, privacy, and regulation remain among UAE residents.
This project will assess drone regulations for flying taxis and analyze public perceptions through a survey. Using machine learning algorithms, the project will classify and predict the likelihood of flying taxi adoption, identifying the best model for public acceptance of this future mobility solution.
