SDT-HBM: Smart Digital Twin Platform for High-Rise Building Management in Dubai
Overview
The SDT-HBM project aims to develop a Smart Digital Twin Platform for the efficient management of high-rise buildings in Dubai by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and Building Information Modeling (BIM). The platform will create dynamic digital replicas of buildings using real-time data from sensors monitoring energy consumption, structural health, and environmental conditions.
By leveraging AI-driven analytics, the system will enable predictive maintenance, optimize energy usage, enhance operational efficiency, and improve building resilience. Designed to be secure, scalable, and interoperable, the platform supports the development of smart city infrastructure and aligns with Dubai’s sustainability initiatives, including the UAE Net Zero 2050 strategy. The project bridges digital twin technology, smart building management, and urban sustainability to create a next-generation solution for high-rise building operations.
