Transforming Fashion Retail with AI-Driven Body Measurement and 3D Body Fitting

Overview

This project aims to transform online fashion retail by introducing an AI-driven body measurement and 3D fitting solution that improves garment size accuracy and reduces product return rates. By integrating artificial intelligence, computer vision, and augmented reality, the system enables users to obtain personalized size recommendations through a mobile application.

Users can scan their bodies using smartphone cameras for convenience or access high-precision 3D scanners installed in shopping malls for more detailed body profiling. The generated digital body model can be securely stored and reused for virtual try-ons and future purchases. An adaptive feedback mechanism continuously refines the AI model using user interactions and post-purchase outcomes to maintain accuracy over time. The project emphasizes ethical AI, data privacy, and localization through collaboration with UAE-based retailers, supporting sustainability, digital transformation, and smart retail initiatives in the UAE.
